Confined Space Entry & Rescue

This two (2) days professional training program equips personnel with the knowledge required to identify confined spaces, assess associated hazards, apply permit-to-work systems, and understand safe entry and emergency response requirements in industrial environments.The course emphasizes regulatory compliance, hazard control, atmospheric awareness, isolation procedures, and rescue planning based on real industrial scenarios across manufacturing, oil & gas, power plants, utilities, and agro-allied industries.

Module 2 Risk Assessment & Permit-to-Work Systems

Confined space risk assessment principles
Job Hazard Analysis (JHA) for confined spaces
Permit-to-work systems: components, authorization, validity, cancellation
Isolation methods (mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic)
Lockout/Tagout integration
Communication and signage requirements

Module 3 Atmospheric Hazards, Testing & Ventilation Principles

Atmospheric hazards and exposure limits
Gas detection concepts (oxygen, flammable, toxic gases)
Testing sequence and monitoring requirements
Ventilation principles and methods
