Basic Pneumatics & Electro-Pneumatics Automation Systems (Design, Operation, Troubleshooting & Maintenance)

This practical, hands-on 5-day program is designed to equip technicians, engineers, supervisors, and maintenance personnel with the knowledge and skills to design, operate, troubleshoot, and maintain industrial pneumatic and electro-pneumatic systems. The course combines theory with intensive laboratory exercises using industrial-grade components such as compressors, valves, actuators, FRLs, sensors, solenoids, timers, and control circuits.Participants will gain confidence in system design, fault diagnosis, safety, and preventive maintenance, ensuring reliable and efficient plant operation.

Duration: 5 days
Prerequisites: Basic knowledge of PLCs (preferably Siemens S7 1200 & 15000), Basic computer & networking skills and Industrial automation/controls background (recommended)

Course objectives

  • Understand the principles of compressed air generation and distribution
  • Identify and select pneumatic components and symbols using ISO standards
